Motrix® Automotive Diffuser Films Help Protect Backlight Components from Vibration-Related Wear
Automotive display backlights are continuously exposed to vibration while the vehicle is in motion. Repeated contact and friction between optical layers may wear the diffuser film and generate particles or debris.
Once trapped within the backlight film stack, these particles may scratch the light guide plate or damage the microstructures of prism films, potentially causing visible optical defects and affecting long-term backlight reliability.
Compared with conventional diffuser films, Motrix® automotive diffuser films are designed to provide improved resistance to vibration-related abrasion and lower particle generation. This helps reduce friction-related wear and protect adjacent components, including light guide plates and prism films.
In addition to providing light diffusion, Motrix® automotive diffuser films support the durability and reliability required for automotive display backlight applications.
