Nowadays, LED has been the main light source instead of traditional halogen bulbs or fluorescent tubes. Glare has become a serious problem in LED lighting. What is glare?
Glare is the loss of visual performance or discomfort produced by an intensity of light in the visual field greater than the intensity of light to which the eyes are adapted. Normally glare will occur when too much light enters your eye and interferes with your eye’s ability to manage it. Glare can be distracting and even dangerous and can occur day or night in a number of ways. Glare may come directly from a light source or be reflected.
The difference between anti-glare diffuser sheet and non anti-glare diffuser sheet
We place anti-glare diffuser plates and non anti-glare diffuser plates together on the top of LED lighting. You can see our anti-glare diffuser is brighter than non anti-glare diffuser.
However, if you view the lighting from the side of lighting (30 degree), the anti-glare diffuser produce less light than non anti-glare diffuser. This means the shading Angle of conventional lamps is 30 degrees according to the normal visual Angle of the person, when the shading Angle of lamps is greater than 30 degrees, it can avoid direct light into the human eye.
The surface pattern of de-glare diffuser usually is prism. We provide PS, PMMA and PC diffuser sheet to meet your requirement. Customer can combine with prism diffuser sheet with diffuser film or brightness enhancement film to achieve better UGR values.
